You are purchasing the right to use the image—not ownership of the image itself.

These images are created and licensed directly by Noir Imagery, providing a clear and simple usage framework without third-party licensing layers.

What you can do

You may use the images in personal and commercial creative projects, including:

  • Books and ebooks

  • Websites and blogs

  • Social media and marketing materials

  • Editorial and storytelling use

  • Client work (non-exclusive use)

  • This includes use in products for sale where the image supports a larger work (such as book covers or interior illustrations).

You may modify, crop, and adapt the images as needed for your project.

What you cannot do

You may not:

  • Resell, share, or redistribute the images as standalone files

  • Offer the images as part of any digital or physical image collection, bundle, or library

  • Use the images in templates, design assets, or products intended for resale or redistribution

  • Use the images as the primary visual element on merchandise for sale (including print-on-demand products such as mugs, posters, apparel, or similar items)

  • Claim the images as your own or imply exclusive ownership

License terms

  • All licenses are non-exclusive and non-transferable

  • You may not sublicense, assign, or transfer the image to another party

  • Each purchase grants usage rights to a single user or entity

  • You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and platform requirements. Noir Imagery is not responsible for how images are used once downloaded.

Ownership

All images remain the intellectual property of Noir Imagery.

Purchasing an image does not transfer copyright.
